Drain Clearing Services
Clearing a blocked drain or a main line is not just a matter of manpower; you need the right equipment to unclog drains and clear lines. At Sunstate Plumbing, we have drain cleaning equipment, from small hand snakes, to large sewer machines capable of clearing sewer mains. Drain and sewer machines clear the drain or sewer line by rotating a flexible spring wire cable through the pipe. Attachments on the end of the cable aid in the clearing process by scraping, boring, cutting, and retrieving the blockage. Each type of blockage requires the proper sized cable and appropriate head. Drain and line clearing is a dirty job, when we work in your home, our goal is to make it look like we were never there. Drain and line clearing should not leave your home or business messy. Our technicians use floor mats and booties to protect your home or business. This process takes experienced, qualified technicians; Sunstate Plumbing has the equipment and technicians to get the job done properly.
Do I Need a Sewer Line Repair or to Have My Sewer Line Cleared?
Sewer repair is needed when your sewer is blocked and cannot be cleared. Collapsed lines, tree roots penetrating the line, broken lines, old lines having failed, can all be causes of sewer line problems. This is one of the most unpleasant plumbing situations you can encounter since this is a much more complicated problem to solve compared to simply clearing the line. Depending on the situation and your sewer lines, a section, or all of your of sewer lines, may need to be replaced. To determine the severity of the issue, an in-line video inspection is performed to assess the cause and assist in formulating an effective remedy.
In-Line Video Inspection
An in-line sewer camera is inserted into sewer line, live video shows the condition of the pipe, and locates where a blockage or damage is in your sewer line. Our video inspection equipment is equipped with locators to determine the location and depth of the sewer line damage from above ground. This allows for spot repairs when possible. Video inspections can tell if you have root intrusion, separated pipes, offset pipe joints, or a broken pipe. To complete a full, in-line sewer inspection, the line needs to be cleared or at least cleared as much as possible.
