We called Sunstate Plumbing this morning, and they came out a couple of hours later. They had to clear the main water line and gave us a quote before starting the work. When they were done, they let us know they did not have to do as an extensive job as they thought, so the price went down considerably. They could have still charged us what they quoted; we would have been none the wiser. So thankful they were honest. Great guys, very personable. Give them a call, you will not be disappointed. Our tankless water heater had leaks on the heat exchanger, which was under warranty. One company told us that we needed to replace the entire water heater with a new one because it would be difficult to get a warranty replacement of the heat exchanger, and it might not fix the problem anyway. Ron at Sunstate did not try to upsell us on a whole new unit, got a replacement heat exchanger quickly, and fixed the problem, saving us thousands $$$. It’s nice to work with a company that is honest, prompt, and cares enough to help, even though they are not making a big sale.

Mike was so pleasant, efficient, and honest. He arrived on schedule (actually a little early) and promptly did what he came to do. In addition, I had a flush valve that was screeching—he tinkered with it and discovered the shut-off valve was not fully open, and because I have high water pressure, it was causing the screech. He did not charge me for that! And gave me a senior discount for the other work! I’m a happy camper.

I asked Sunstate to send a plumber to check our tankless water heater that would not turn on. I was fully expecting to hear I would need to replace the heater. Instead, the plumber, Ron S., blew me away with his honesty and integrity. He took the time to call the manufacturer's support line and have them decipher the error code being given by the heater. All we needed to do was press a reset button on the heater! Problem solved! All we paid was the base trip charge, which was more than reasonable. Sunstate—and especially Ron—are our new forever plumber. We will call them to work on other projects we are planning. BTW—he likes dogs. So do we.

Mike and Ron both came out to assess my situation of a broken water heater. They were very nice to deal with, explaining every detail of changing from gas to electric. Sunstate Plumbing was recommended to me by several people who live in my community and they all gave them RAVE reviews. Well, they were right. I could not be more satisfied with Sunstate Plumbing! Mike did a great job of diagnosing the problem and quoted me a great price. He was personable and very knowledgeable. He went above and beyond by explaining that the new parts he installed had a 2-year warranty and if my toilet had any problems in the future to give him a call and he would check it out. I definitely will be calling Sunstate Plumbing when and if I have any plumbing problems! Thanks. I gave the above review several months ago after my first repair with Sunstate Plumbing. This last week I had to call them again concerning a second toilet that was having problems. I asked if Mike would be available to do the service call. Mike arrived and, just as above, he diagnosed the problem, which was more complicated than my other toilet, quoted me a great price. There aren't enough words in the dictionary to give adequate praise for this man. If the Olympics had an event called "Plumbing" Mike would be on the podium with a GOLD Medal! Had to call Mike again to come to my rescue on Dec 31st in midafternoon when businesses were closed or closing for New Year's Eve. I turned on my shower & could not turn it off - had to finally shut off the water to the house. I called Mike and he was at my house in less than 30 min. Found the problem immediately - put in a new part - and all was done in approximately an hour and a half. This man is unbelievable - great personality - his knowledge about his profession, I'm in awe of! As always he goes above and beyond to satisfy his customers! Thanks Mike & Happy New Year. Friday, June 20, 2025 Before noon as I was washing dishes I reached underneath my sink for dish soap & felt water spraying. I discovered a leak & immediately picked up the phone to call my favorite plumber, Mike. I was desperately hoping that he would be able to have time to work me in today! He was solidly booked, but told me that he would be by as soon as he could. We turned our water off and waited for our "Superman" of Plumbing. As I've written above, in other reviews, Mike never disappoints. He appeared within the hour & found the problem within 5 minutes. He had all the equipment needed to complete the repair in his truck. I've said it before & will say it again. Mike is unbelievable - great personality - his knowledge about his profession - I'm in awe of! Ron was amazing. What I thought was either a slab leak or hot water heater drain issue turned out to be the neighbors' irrigation lines. He showed me how to flush my water heater and provided information about the maintenance of the system. He cleaned up after taking care of everything. Reasonable rates as well.
